OANDO’S ELECTRIC BUS INITIATIVE

The company aims to deploy 5,000 electric buses in Lagos State as part of its efforts to reduce carbon emissions from public transportation and facilitate Nigeria’s shift from combustion engine vehicles to electric alternatives.
The initiative is expected to significantly cut public transport emissions by 5%, promote cleaner energy adoption, and provide a model for transitioning Nigeria’s transportation sector toward sustainable energy solutions.
