Kids Say the Darndest Things Africa Returns: A New Era in Children’s Entertainment

WHAT Network has officially revived Kids Say the Darndest Things Africa, marking a new chapter in family-friendly entertainment. At a press conference on February 5th at Lagos Continental Hotel, NBC Director General Mr. Charles Ebuebu praised the show’s return, emphasizing its role in shaping young minds through wholesome and culturally rich programming.

The event gathered industry leaders, including Indomie’s Head of Corporate Communications, alongside key media stakeholders. Mr. Ebuebu highlighted the importance of local content and NBC’s commitment to supporting quality children’s programming.

A major highlight was the introduction of Amarachi Nwuneli, a former contestant now returning as co-host alongside Tony Okungbowa for Season 3. WHAT Network CEO Mrs. Chichi Nwoko shared the vision behind the revival, announcing that entries open on February 10th for children aged 3 to 12. Production kicks off in May, with the show premiering in August.
