The central bank of Nigeria has honored Opay with the International Financial Inclusion Conference Award for its role in advancing Nigeria’s financial inclusion, aligning with the Central Bank of Nigeria target to achieve a 95 per cent financial inclusion rate by 2024. Opay through collaboration with CBN and other regulatory bodies has provided secure and accessible digital financial service to millions of Nigerians, breaking barriers of inclusivity, enhancing digital literacy and expanding financial services to rural and urban communities. Opay’s Chief Executive Officer, Dauda Gotring while speaking on the recognition, stated that the recognition from Central bank highlights the dedication of the company to providing innovative, compliant and inclusive financial solution, adding that Opay stood out among other financial industry players for its performance in delivering secure and accessible financial solutions.
