Tokunboh George-Taylor, a seasoned Communications Leader and CEO of Skot Communications, has been appointed as a Shortlisting Juror for the PR Lions at the prestigious 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

This global event, scheduled for June 17-21, 2024, is the largest gathering in the advertising and creative communications industry, recognizing and celebrating innovative creative work worldwide.

Announcing her appointment on LinkedIn, Tokunboh expressed her humility and excitement to be part of this esteemed festival, saying, “I’m thrilled to contribute to selecting the work that will set the benchmark I’ll be serving as a Shortlisting Juror for the PR Lions at the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity!

With over 30 years of experience in communications, Tokunboh has established herself as a expert in executive development, internal and external communications, advocacy, strategic guidance, stakeholder engagement, and campaign development across diverse sectors.

Her career highlights include founding Skot Communications, leading Hill+Knowlton Nigeria as Managing Director, and heading Corporate Services and Communications at Oando Plc.

Tokunboh is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin, USA, and an active member of several professional organizations, including the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), Public Relations Association UK (PRCA), and the Institute of Directors (IOD). She is also a fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative-West Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.”
