Leading advertising agency, Insight Publicis has launched a selective creative academy in order to reduce
the gap caused by shortage of creative manpower in the marketing communication industry.
A statement by the agency said the new creative academy will be a training ground for top-tier creative professionals in the Nigerian and African marketing communication landscape.
Group Chief Executive Officer of the company, Tayo Oyedeji, noted that the academy aimed at producing thoroughbred creative professionals and providing a talent pool for the Insight Redefini Group of Companies to feed the creative yearning of the marketing communication industry from entry level and through the ranks.
He said, “This initiative is a timely intervention aimed at reaffirming the world-class creative leadership Insight Publicis and the Insight Redefini Group are known for.”
The Group Creative Director of Insight Redefini, Sinmisola Hughes-Obisesan, said the firm was thrilled to launch the creative enterprise and committed to producing brilliant, passionate and dexterous creative professionals from the Creative Interns Academy.
She added that the course content was designed to cover every aspect of the creative chain, from ideation all the way to production, to ensure the interns get holistic and robust training across the entire creative process.
