A global e-commerce platform, Mall For Africa, has expressed its commitment to ensuring that Small and Medium-scale Enterprises operating in the country find their feet in the global market so as to boost the nation’s economy.
The MFA said its new product, Concierge VIP Services, had been restricted to meet the shopping needs of the very wealthy and high net worth individuals and companies, who did not have the luxury of time to purchase goods and services to address their needs.
During the unveiling of its new product, MFA’s Head in Africa, Kwame Acheampong, explained that through one of its services called Market Place Africa, retailers operating within the SME domain, would be able to showcase their products to a wider business space on the global arena.
He stated, “We have another product called the Market Place Africa, where we help SMEs to export; so, we are exporting and importing. We are facilitators, we have the application that allows import and export; we are proud to be Africans and we need to help our Africans through our global network of fulfilment and logistics; and so, we are now enabling SMEs in this country and around Africa to get out.
“In terms of export, small and medium entrepreneurs like fashion designers and artists can now get their products out to the wider world. This is the first time someone here can actually sell their products to the outer world without any hassles. All they have to do is to take the products to a focal point and they get out to other countries.”
